Guest Speaker:  Chris Berg with NV5 will be speaking on the upcoming building code changes for the 2024 NC Building Code


Bio - In his 34-year career, Chris has developed, led, and fostered the growth of structural engineering departments specializing in both building and bridge structural design. As a structural engineer, he leads engineering design, oversees drafting technicians, performs field investigation projects such as existing condition assessments and structural failure investigations, and produces engineering reports to accompany them. Chris has served on the building code council for several years.
