NCDOT’S 1ST CMGC PROJECT: I-40 BRIDGE REPLACEMENTS IN DIVISION 14
An overview of the benefits of the construction manager/general contractor (CM/GC) approach for the 5 bridge replacements, including the benefits of close coordination between the owner, engineers, and contractors for the bridge replacement schedule; and a review of the structural design, construction innovations, and construction progress.
